POLL: Food Prices are Driving North Carolina Voters Away from Biden
The Tar Heel State is breaking bigly for Trump, and Biden has no one but himself to blame
Joe Biden has transformed America from a land famed for its “amber waves of grain” to one with empty store shelves and skyrocketing food prices, and its sending North Carolina voters flocking to Trump’s banner in record numbers.
Fully 68 percent of North Carolina voters—split evenly between Democrats, independents, and Republicans—blame Biden’s policies for hiking grocery bills since 2021, according to a new poll by Steve Cortes’ populist League of American Workers shared with Restoration News.
That figure rises to a resounding 84 percent when factoring in voters who say Biden only played a minor role in food prices rising. Just 13 percent say the Democratic President had no hand in inflating costs.
What’s worse news for Democrats is that a meager 3 percent of those polled are uncertain who’s to blame for that inflation—granting Biden an extremely low ceiling for winning back skeptical North Carolinians just 5 months out from Election Day.
Who are these frustrated voters? Just over half (53%) are 18–54. One-third report annual household incomes under $50,000, another third reports under $100,000. And 64 percent are not college graduates.

This is America’s middle- and working-class electorate, which Democrats abandoned for an ultra-wealthy managerial elite responsible for the country’s decline. While huge numbers of American families are going into debt to buy groceries, these mandarins are insulated from the Bidenflation created by the Left’s policies. The numbers speak for themselves:
- A Big Mac cost roughly $3.99 when Biden entered office in 2021; today it’s as much as $5.69.
- Eggs are up 65 percent since Trump left office in 2020—from $2.35 per carton, to $3.87 today.
- Dog owners are paying 56 percent more to feed their pets in 2024 compared with 2020.
- How about deodorant? Four years ago a stick cost $4.68; now it’s $7.43 and climbing—a 59 percent hike.
These aren’t COVID figures—they were caused by out-of-control government spending by a reckless administration that can’t give away enough of your money to Ukraine, Gaza terrorists, or its activist allies. The result is crippling national debt and ever-inflating prices for everyday necessities.
The pain can end—but only if North Carolinians give Biden the boot in November. Until then, don’t expect inflation to ease up.
