Kamala's Climate Plan Would Cost Your Family $76,000. For What?
The San Francisco Democrat has a plan to thwart the weather—and bankrupt our country in the process
“As a proud daughter of California,” Kamala Harris bragged while running for U.S. Senate, “I still believe in that old adage: So goes California, goes the rest of the country.”
Don’t doubt she means it.
While running for president in 2020, Harris planned to inflict her San Francisco-nutty climate policies—those currently bankrupting the Golden State—on the rest of America, zeroing out carbon emissions to halt the ever-changing climate and abolish the oil, gas, and coal powering our homes.
The cost: A steal at $10 trillion—or 40 percent of the entire annual U.S. economy.
Put another way, Kamala’s climate plan would cost every American family $76,086, higher than the average national income of $69,000. Per person, that’s $29,689.
Americans are already suffering under the Bidenflation created by Democrats in the past four years, which has inflated the cost of everyday goods nearly 20 percent since 2021.
Recall that Kamala co-sponsored the Green New Deal, currently in effect under Joe Biden with the ultimate goal of going “net-zero” by destroying anything that emits carbon dioxide. What does “net-zero” mean for you? Take it from Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who recently explained why they’ll need to strip Americans of $78 trillion to fund the eco-revolution:
the Biden-Harris administration has made supporting the transition to net zero a top priority . . . [via] the Inflation Reduction Act, the most significant climate legislation in our nation’s history. . . . The transition will require no less than $3 trillion in new capital from many sources each year between now and 2050.
In practice, that means abolishing your gas stove, your car, your fireplace, and even the steak on your dinner table. Asked in 2019 if she would “support changing the dietary guidelines, the food pyramid, to reduce red meat specifically?” Kamala answered, “Yes, I would.”
One leftist group is even bragging that “Harris is expected to maintain Biden’s climate policies while potentially adopting more progressive stances to inspire young voters and contrast with former President Trump’s fuel-friendly policies.”
Expect that to mean banning fracking in states like Pennsylvania, which she vowed to do on the 2020 campaign trail.

World (of Pain) Without End
Worse, that’s just the cost to “transition” away from traditional, reliable energy sources to expensive unreliables like wind and solar, lining the pocketbooks of the consultants and eco-activists lining up behind Harris’ latest presidential campaign.
Americans will then have to contend with the soaring cost of, well, everything that depends on traditional fuels. Plastics? Gone—they’re made with oil. Groceries? Better hope those $500,000 electric semis don’t break down mid-journey. Airplanes? Would you trust an electric engine to get you there and back again?
The list goes on. Kamala has said of carbon-free nuclear energy that “As president, I would not stand for that.” Yet the Left’s favorite alternatives, solar and wind, provide just 14 percent of the electricity generated each year nationwide, compared with nearly 79 percent that comes from nuclear and so-called fossil fuels. So where will the electricity for your house come from?
The problem is made even worse if most drivers are forced to buy an electric vehicle, as the Biden-Harris regime mandated be in effect by 2032—just 8 years from now. Hope you’ve got an extra $56,000 lying around to buy one after paying off Kamala’s $10 trillion climate plan.
But the Left doesn’t care. Harris is the darling of well-heeled eco-radicals whose plan to decarbonize the economy ultimately comes down to decarbonizing you.
Get ready to go “green” under Kamala Harris—or else.
