Hamas Radicals March on Washington, But Does the Media Even Notice?

With the news focused on military conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, the new poll showing that President Joe Biden is in serious reelection trouble, and the recent off-year elections—you could be excused for missing the grab-bag of leftist extremists who ran through the streets of Washington, D.C., and other cities on November 4 for the (pro-Hamas) March for Palestine.

The event was spearheaded by the ANSWER Coalition, which first entered the political scene in 2001 shortly after the 9/11 attacks. According to this tweet, ANSWER appears to have coordinated the transportation to bus in many of the protestors.

The initial co-sponsors list of the March for Palestine includes a Who’s Who list of radical socialist organizations, including:

  • Palestinian Youth Movement
  • American Muslim Association
  • The People’s Forum
  • National Students for Justice in Palestine
  • Al-Awda: The Palestine Right to Return Coalition
  • U.S. Palestinian Community Network (USPCN)
  • U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR)
  • Maryland2Palestine

Of course, no invasion of far-left activists in the nation’s capital would be complete without, dare we say… insurrection activities? Just a few weeks ago hundreds were arrested at the U.S. Capitol and in congressional offices in the first wave of pro-Hamas protests against Israel. But despite the Biden administration’s years-long obsession on certain types of disruptive and riotous activity, multiple reports of vandalism and attempts to breach the fence around the White House reportedly resulted in only one protestor being arrested… for spraypainting a McDonald’s

The irony of the protest is that it actually wasn’t about Hamas, Palestinians, or Israel. Just like the Black Lives Matter, gun control March for our Lives, and Women’s March alliances, it’s really all about pushing leftist lunacy as far and wide as possible.

Take, for example, the left-wing activists that reemerged from the woodwork this past weekend. Actress Susan Sarandon, who called for abolishing ICE while she was arrested at the Women’s March 2018 #WomenDisobey immigration protest, joined the main stage at Saturday’s March for Palestine. And speaking of the Women’s March, co-founder Linda Sarsour announced her return to Twitter after an apparent self-imposed exile to promote the protests and show support for her “friend” Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D–MI).

We also see elements of Black Lives Matter (BLM) in the March for Palestine and the overall pro-Hamas movement. Right after the October 7 attack on Israel, BLM affiliates in Chicago posted social media images cheering airborne Hamas fighters who committed mass murder at an Israeli music festival. BLM Chicago (kind of) walked back its initial celebratory statement, but Black Lives Matter Grassroots doubled down on supporting “self-defense” against Israel’s “colonialism.” And ANSWER Coalition’s protest support in Washington last week matches their BLM protest strategy in Cleveland, Ohio—eight years ago.

It’s important to understand that the pro-Hamas, anti-Israel movement isn’t limited to just domestic bad actors—it’s a collage of worldwide leftist intersectionality. Just like Washington, D.C., London was overwhelmed this past weekend “by the newly-formed Free Palestine Coalition, which includes @SistersUncut, @ukblm and the @BlackJewishA.” Feminists and “anti-racists” apparently stand with those who rape and murder innocent women because of their racial heritage.

The real goal is global socialism and cultural Marxism. That’s why BLM (which advocates for the destruction of the nuclear family) and the Women’s March (which wants to slaughter babies) are joined at the hip with the March for Palestine endorsers such as the Democratic Socialists of America, CODEPINK, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), and the Green Party.

That’s why in 2023 Palestinian flags and scarves have replaced pink hats and raised fists… but the ideology hasn’t changed a bit.
