BREAKING: DNC Riot Was Organized by Soros-Funded Activists
Yesterday’s violent mob was paid for by George Soros and the other usual suspects.
Another day, another far-left riot in our nation’s capital.
On Wednesday night, 150 pro-Hamas rioters battled police outside the Democratic Party headquarters in Washington, D.C., two blocks south of the U.S. Capitol building. Six police officers were injured and “scores” of Democrat politicians were hurriedly escorted into the building’s basement to escape the violent rioters. Some, including Rep. Brad Sherman (D–CA), were “evacuated in police vehicles” from the far-left crowd.
Restoration News has identified at least 3 activist organizations responsible for the pro-Hamas riot: If Not Now, Jewish Voice for Peace, and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)—all bankrolled by major left-leaning funders, including George Soros.
If Not Now
The If Not Now movement was spawned in 2014 as part of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaign to abolish the nation of Israel. Unsurprisingly, it’s a strong supporter of pro-Hamas Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D–MI) and Ilhan Omar (D–MN).
The group organizes sit-ins and protests—often replete with anti-Semitic imagery—aimed to cutting off U.S. support for the Jewish state. In 2017, If Not Now activists took over the National Museum of American Jewish History—commemorating Israel’s 50th anniversary as a country with a pro-Palestinian “exhibit.”
If Not Now is heavily funded by George Soros’ Foundation to Promote Open Society. Soros has funneled at least $15 million into pro-Palestine groups since 2016.
We’ve traced other 5- and 6-figure grants from the Tides Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, and the Arca Foundation, a North Carolina philanthropy using money from the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco fortune.
If Not Now is also funded by the New Israel Fund, which criticizes Israeli settlers for terrorizing West Bank Palestinians. New Israel Fund also bankrolls the anti-“disinformation” group FakeReporter, which aims to “debunk” claims about Hamas’ violent attack Oct. 7:
We are watching as their efforts reach mainstream Israeli audiences as well. For example, FakeReporter showed that a viral image of children in cages, purportedly Israeli children who were being held hostage by Hamas, was entirely fake.
‘We’re seeing violence and lies taken down and disinformation being refuted because of our reports,’ Achiya Schatz, CEO of FakeReporter, told NPR.
Jewish Voice for Peace
Despite its name, Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) takes its cues from Linda Sarsour, the rabidly anti-Semitic activist associated with radical Islamic groups.
JVP, also a BDS supporter, “unequivocally oppose[s] Zionism” and aims to cut off U.S. support for the Jewish state. Its ultimate goal is to abolish Israel entirely—thanks to heavy funding from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and Soros.
JVP boasted last week that it’s led numerous pro-Hamas protests across the country and accuses Israel of committing Palestinian “genocide, one that our elected officials are fueling by refusing to support a ceasefire.”
Democratic Socialists of America
The DSA is single-handedly responsible for transforming the Democratic Party into a pro-Palestine authoritarian political party. Since 2016, the DSA has seeded 160 trained socialists into elected offices across dozens of states—most famously “Squad” Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Cori Bush (D–MO), and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D–NY).
Recall that Tlaib quickly planted a Palestinian flag outside her congressional office in solidarity with Hamas murderers last month. The day after Hamas’ attack, she led an anti-Israel insurrection that briefly took over a House office building.
“Today’s events are a direct result of Israel’s apartheid regime,” DSA blasted on Oct. 7, while Hamas’ attack was underway. “End the violence. End the Occupation. Free Palestine,” the group added, while accusing Israel of subjecting Palestinian Arabs to 60 years of “ethnic cleansing, torture, bombings, and housing demolitions.”
No criticism whatsoever of Hamas:
As socialists, we must act [by] pressuring elected officials to stop providing financial support to the Israeli state. Take to the streets to join a protest for peace and against funding the Israeli state.
DSA congressmen made up 5 of the 10 House members who voted against an October resolution to stand “with Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas.”
Ultimately, DSA aims to overthrow capitalism in America and annihilate Israel, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.
Yet it’s funded by the Jewish Communal Fund, a pass-through for donors to support “Jewish charities.”
What’s clear is that Democrats have an anti-Semite problem. Voters have an opportunity to throw them out in 2024—will they take it?
This is a developing story and will be updated as new information comes to light.
