Tammy Baldwin Can Duck Demented Joe on the Campaign Trail, But Not Her Voting Record
The Senator for Madison is Joe Biden’s best pal in the Senate. So why is she hiding that cozy relationship?
You can run, Tammy, but your voting record can’t hide.
On July 2, amused Wisconsinites were treated to the spectacle of their ultraliberal Senator, Tammy Baldwin, fleeing the leader of the Democratic Party at a Madison campaign event like she was avoiding the plague. For those counting, that’s the fourth time this year that Baldwin’s ducked a Biden visit to Wisconsin.
We know why: She wants to avoid taking the blame for Dementia Joe’s failing economy, open borders, fanatical climate policies, crime wave, drug epidemic, and overseas debacles. Who wouldn’t?
But her record demonstrates Tammy Baldwin voted with Biden more than 95 percent of the time during his first two years in office—and a whopping 99 percent of the time in just 2023.
No wonder Baldwin, who casts herself as a “moderate,” is the 7th-most liberal member in the U.S. Senate—more liberal than 89 percent of Senate Democrats and 95 percent of the Senate as a whole.
That puts Baldwin in league with socialist Sens. Elizabeth Warren (MA), Bernie Sanders (VT), and Cory Booker (NJ). No wonder Madison leftists love her so much.
So why does Baldwin refuse to say whether she’ll support Biden staying in the race for the White House? We asked… and got crickets in response. Voters have a right to know whether Tammy Baldwin will continue rubber-stamping Biden’s radical, America Last policies.
The proof is in the voting record. See how Tammy Baldwin voted at SenatorForMadison.com
