She Used to Abort the Unborn. Now She Defends Them. Meet Pro-Life Hero Abby Johnson

We have put women in a situation where they’re killing their own children

This week on the First Right Podcast:

First Right host Hayden Ludwig welcomes Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood Clinic Director turned pro-life hero. Abby leads the crusade to take down the Left’s cult of death and minister to the women devastated by our nation’s lax abortion laws.

Johnson left Planned Parenthood in 2009 after several events led her to rethink her career path. Her clinic’s “abortion quota” doubled for the year, and she was appointed to travel around the country and train other clinics on how to sell abortion to women. In addition, Planned Parenthood was beginning to abort babies through the sixth month of pregnancy, and several medical malpractice cases required “hush money” payouts to women who went septic and nearly died after an abortion procedure.

“I was the one to hand checks to women and make them sign a non-disclosure requiring they never speak about the negligence,” Johnson stated. “That felt really gross.”

But it wasn’t until Johnson witnessed the deliberate killing of a 13-week-old baby that she made the choice to leave Planned Parenthood for good. Since that time, she has become an outspoken advocate for the pro-life movement.

“We believe women and babies have equal dignity from the moment of conception,” said Johnson. “A woman’s rights don’t outweigh a child’s rights, and a child’s rights don’t outweigh a woman’s rights. They are equal and have equal value.”

Johnson witnessed firsthand the injustice of abortion and won’t compromise on the fact that life begins at conception. As conservatives, we need to take a stand until abortion ends for good.
