Sharyl Attkisson: Public Should Be Outraged Government is Spying on Them
Legendary journalist Sharyl Attkisson, who was spied upon by the Obama administration, says the public ought to be upset their government is spying on them too.
“These outrages will continue if nobody is held accountable,” Attkisson said on a recent First Right Podcast with host Doug Truax.
Attkisson has various lawsuits in progress against federal agents related to home- and work-related computer intrusions when she worked for CBS News.
Attkisson noted that the federal government has spied on other journalists, politicians, and on Donald Trump when he was a candidate for President in 2016.
“Why does this matter in the big picture?… as long as we don’t hold people accountable, we can’t be surprised that they did what they did to Donald Trump,” she said.
