GUEST SPECIAL: A Stunning Year for the Foundation for the Restoration of America
Marking FFROA’s many achievements in its first year, and looking ahead to more wins in 2024

At the Foundation for the Restoration of America (FFROA), we believe the best way to preserve the timeless lessons of our nation’s past is by inspiring the next generation to treasure America’s founding documents. An educated public armed with an intimate knowledge of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence is, was, and will remain the surest guarantor of liberty. We’ve known this since at least 1776—yet today’s youth are unaware of just how precious that freedom really is.
Our children aren’t learning about the greatness of America because our many schools aren’t teaching it, leaving future citizens ignorant about our founding documents, and founding fathers. Even worse, some schools actually portray American ideals negatively, molding activists instead of citizens.
If we continue down the road, we’ll get more than just ignorance; we’ll end up shackled by tyrants. The Foundation for the Restoration of America exists to solve this problem.
FFROA’s Constitutional Study Program is the antidote to our national sickness. In 2023 alone, over 500 people across 43 states and the Virgin Islands applied for our scholarships, spending an amazing 6,500 hours studying the Constitution in detail. And we’re just getting started.
Here’s what one of our applicants had to say “To protect the Constitution we must teach people about it. As a high schooler, I was not fully aware of how important this document was until I took this course. I also had yet to learn the extent to which the ideas of the Constitution were under attack. It is crucial to make people aware of the threat our country is facing.”
In 2023, we were honored to be selected by Awake Americans, a charity that advances American values, as one of its 3 top charities nationwide serving Americans’ pursuit of happiness—part of its key philanthropic pillars of promoting life and liberty. We’re also proud to partner with Catholic Vote, Moms for Liberty, and Moms for America (announcing Feb. 29th) among others to advance patriotic scholarship across the country.
We’re accepting new applications for our Constitutional Studies Scholarship Program for students who are 16 years or older and U.S. citizens. Decisions are made twice annually on August 1st and March 1st. Selected scholars will enroll in and complete 2 Hillsdale Constitutional Study courses (about 8 hours) at their own pace.
