Border Patrol Has Seized Enough Fentanyl to Kill 6 Billion People
Charting America’s descent into madness in Joe Biden’s borderless America
The latest in our weekly reporting on the worst illegal immigration catastrophe in U.S. history
Arrested at the Border… & Released into Your Neighborhood
Criminal gangs of Chilean illegal aliens have reportedly set up shop in one of Michigan’s wealthiest communities, Oakland County (median home price: $365,000), a top vote-getter for Joe Biden in the 2020 election. Home surveillance caught the gang looting $800,000 in jewelry and cash from an upscale neighborhood.
That’s downright civil compared with New York City’s “Tren de Aragua,” a violent, moped-riding Venezuelan crime ring (many of whom arrived claiming asylum) whom police connect to 62 robberies and may be working with a cartel run by Maduro himself, “Cartel of the Suns.”
This was unthinkable just a few years ago. Under Donald Trump, Customs and Border Patrol arrests of criminal non-citizens plummeted from 8,500 in 2017 to 2,400 in 2020 as authorities brought the border back under control. Criminal arrests immediately spiked under Biden, rising to 10,800 in 2021 to a high of over 15,000 last year. That’s not a sign of being tough on crime; it shows how out-of-control illegal immigration has become under the doddering Democrat.
And they’re coming through the Canadian border as well, with Border Patrol reporting a 114 percent increase since last year.
It’s no mystery why. Biden quickly reinstated “catch-and-release,” forcing authorities to release as many as 75 percent of the illegal aliens caught—some 3.5 million people since Jan. 2021—into our communities while they await court hearings. Many illegal aliens simply turn themselves in to take advantage of this policy.
Experts point out that it’s impossible to thoroughly vet so many non-citizens, especially those who come from places like rural Yemen and Guatemala without records to verify their identities. Border Patrol arrested another 294 individuals on the terrorist watchlist on the Mexican border last year. 127 known or suspected terrorists have also been encountered crossing the Canadian border this year alone.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) similarly reports a dramatic uptick in criminal arrests between 2021 and 2023, from 74,000 to 171,000:
Mexico accounts for a quarter of these criminals. Almost half—176,000 individuals—came from central America, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and Cuba. Recall that in Sept. 2022, Venezuela’s communist regime under Nicolas Maduro released an unknown number of violent inmates convicted of “murder, rape, and extortion” and encouraged them to join the migrant caravans headed to the U.S.
One of those criminals, Jose Ibarra, murdered 22-year-old Georgia nursing student Laken Riley—after he was caught and released into the country by Biden’s Border Patrol.
Have no doubt: This young woman would be alive today if Joe Biden was not president.

Republicans Crack Down on Democrat Sanctuary Cities
Speaking of poor Laken Riley, on March 28 Georgia Republicans passed a bill (HB 1105) to crack down on rogue sanctuary cities like Athens—where Riley was murdered—by requiring law enforcement cooperate with immigration authorities. Every Democrat voted against the bill.
At the same time, the conservative watchdog Judicial Watch is suing the University of Georgia Police Department for audio of a 911 emergency call about Riley while she was being assaulted, as well as the police report. Both were suppressed by the university. Why?
Death of a (Transgender) Salesman
We’ve reported extensively on the Chinese-subsidized and Mexican-manufactured fentanyl crisis, which will kill 1 in every 44 Wisconsinites. Now even the Left is paying the price for opening the border. In February, fentanyl-laced heroin killing New York “transgender activist” Cecilia Gentili, according to a new report by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), making him a rare example of “progressives” suffering the consequences of their own ideas.
Gentili’s death is a terrible thing, yet hardly the “tragic poisoning” the media is making it out to be—he overdosed on a combination of heroin, cocaine, and xylazine (a veterinary tranquilizer), after all.
This is as much a story about mental illness as it is about drugs. Gentili’s father reportedly spent more time with his mistress than with his family, leaving his 6-year-old son to be molested by a neighbor for years in his native Argentina. At 12, he came out as gay and started wearing his gay-affirming grandmother’s jewelry, who dropped out of church after the pastor “berated” her for allowing the cross-dressing. “I was struck by the sensation that God can be everywhere you look—even on a stranger’s dick,” one enthralled disciple later said of Gentili’s bizarre and blasphemous “religious” teaching.
In college, Gentili met a trans “woman” and began taking hormones to transition before immigrating to the U.S. illegally… where he became a prostitute, fell into heroin abuse, and served multiple prison sentences on drug charges. Then Obama granted Gentili asylum and he became a wild-eyed LGBT fanatic with a television show, The Pose.
Case-in-point: the celebrity activist sued the Trump administration for removing non-discrimination regulations under Obamacare; complained the New York Times was too “biased” against transgender individuals; and ran advocacy campaigns to decriminalize and “destigmatize” prostitution, demanding Republicans recognize “I deserve to exist” by passing Democrats’ misnamed Equality Act, which would further weaponize the Justice Department against anyone who doesn’t fall in line with the radical transgender “rights” movement. He was also on the board of New Pride Agenda, a gay get-out-the-vote group currently lobbying for a “trans prisoners rights” bill to send transgender men to women’s’ prisons in New York.

The Land of Heroin and Fentanyl
Fentanyl is now the leading killer of Americans between 18–45 years old. As many as 7 in 10 illicit pills contain a lethal dose of fentanyl.
In Colorado, DEA agents confiscated a record 2.6 million fentanyl pills last year; they’re already on track to break that record this year. In 2023, Border Patrol seized over 27,000 pounds of fentanyl—enough to kill 6 billion people—yet federal officials estimate they’re only catching 5–10 percent of all fentanyl smuggled into the country.
Some groups have proposed labeling the opioid a weapon of mass destruction, given its incredible lethality and state backing from communist China and Mexico. Mexican President Obrador, a hardened anti-American socialist with shady ties to drug cartels, recently told reporters that he refuses to “fight Mexican drug cartels” to help Americans as part of his “Mexico First” policy.
“We are not going to act as policemen for any foreign government. Mexico First. Our home comes first,” he sneered.
What a concept.
